What is Lansing Robotics all about?
Collaboration
Students across the state are encouraged to embrace the First Robotics mantra of Gracious Professionalism. This is the idea that helping other teams to perform better does not take anything away from your own team. If anything, it helps us all to grow.
Competition
Students learn through engaging competition. Teams across the globe race to create a robot that can participate in a competition that "combines the excitement of sport with the rigor of science and technology" (FIRST ® ).
Growth/ Reflection
After each season, students reflect on their performance and though the iterative process, find ways to grow as an individual and as a program.
